Every now and again I find a blog that I feel will be useful to readers of my blog. Today while working on a post which will highlight the present economics situation with debt from EU countries going bonkers,I found deposits.org, a site that showcases deposits rates across the globe.
Navigating the financial markets in the US, particularly right now with the strength of the economy in question can be emotional and a bit unnerving. The guys over at deposits.org does a very good job of following the markets deposit rates and flow, and gives regular and unbiased updates based on what’s really going on – The website looks at comparing deposits and savings rates of leading banks and financial institutions.
Their main strength lies in categorising products (deposit rates) by deposit type, regions and even rates by country. This is further broken down into the following but limited to term deposits, fixed deposits, savings accounts, time deposits and certificate of deposit.
The provide mid day risks and MOM reports on the current state of the deposit interest rates. Below is a screenshoot of todays highest bank interest rates around the world.
This weekend I will post any major news breaks and post up some pages on what IRA’s are and how to invest in them.
